Keynote Speakers

Chris Voigt Executive Director, Washington State Potato Commission

For a two months in 2010, Chris Voigt ate more potatoes than anyone else in the world. He was out to prove that potatoes were so nutritious that you could literally live off them if you had to. When he’s not out promoting the potato, his normal day job with the Washington State Potato Commission is focused on managing potato research, opening new international markets, and working on legislative and regulatory issues. Chris is also an executive producer of the food and farming TV show, “Washington Grown”. He is a former FFA State President and a graduate of Oregon State University. He lives in Moses Lake with his wife Stephanie, where they raised two children. His real passion is spending time with his family pursuing numerous outdoor adventures such as white-water rafting, surfing, snow skiing, backpacking, kayaking, and biking.

Bruce Vincent

Bruce Vincent is a third-generation logger from Libby, Montana, and co-owner of the community outreach firm Environomics. Bruce speaks throughout the United States and the world, testifies on resource issues before Congress and has appeared on several news programs such as “60 Minutes.” His recently completed book, "Against The Odds" highlights his life journey and identifies a path forward for rural America.
